Why is it that when we finally embrace the uncertainty of process painting, we suddenly feel more connected to our intuitive creative flow? Generally we view uncertainty as a weakness and an obstacle. But in the courage to embrace uncertainty by not having a plan, we find ourselves more trusting in the revelation inherent in each moment.

We all know the pain of having a shame attack, while painting or elsewhere, but how often do we open to the gift of meeting that shame directly?

The painting process asks something big of everyone who comes to it: Can you dare to respect your own expression?
